Speaking of defense, why do so many Christians speak of defending the Gospel?
As a stinking sinner I look to the Gospel as my defense, not the other way around.
As a pastor I proclaim and call upon the Gospel to defend and comfort and save sinners (and the Church), not the other way around.
Think about it. . . .
