We WILL Take It All - Eventually

In case this information has escaped notice, the IMF has declared that it wants governments, especially the USA’s, to begin taxing at a rate of 71%.

IMF Calls For US Income Taxes as High as 71 Percent

IMF Wants a 71 Percent Tax Rate

IMF is the initialism for the International Monetary Fund.

Hollywood took this and used it in the Mission Impossible TV series and then the Movie series.  In this story line IMF stands for Impossible Mission Force, where the special mission team performs covert missions on behalf of the shadow rulers of the world.  Their missions are impossible in nature and yet they heroically complete the missions, with the common folk never knowing.

Would the common folk accept this impossible imposition of taxation without the many years of covert activity of the IMF?  Did the common folk elect the IMF to control the world's monetary instruments?  Do the decisions of the IMF ever require approval from the common people?

What is the effect of such taxation?  Even if this exorbitant tax rate is imposed only upon business owners and the so-called wealthy, does this not cause even more inflation of prices of common goods and services?  If so, who then really bears the brunt of these taxes?  Is it not the common laborer who already struggles to purchase goods and services at the already unaffordable prices?

Government versus Small Business Income

From Top 30 Most Profitable Small Businesses During 2008, here is a table of the reported profit margins:

This is a listing of the profit margins for the TOP 30 most profitable.  The margins of profit range from 7.65% to 16.92%.  This is for companies that actually produce something for the moneys received.

At Kansas Dept. of Revenue Publication 1700: All city, county and special jurisdiction sales tax rates is the official listing of sales taxes for the various cities in the state of Kansas.

For Wichita the sales tax rate is 6.3% for the State + 1.0 for the city for a total profit margin of 7.3%.  And for this the government’s only production is legislation requiring that the people pay this fee/tax for what others have produced.

In addition to sales taxes are the road taxes on gasoline sales, property taxes on real property and equipment, licencing fees, registration fees, 911 fees, and the list goes on and on.

But even at 7.3%, this matches or at least approaches the entire profit margin for many small businesses.

If businesses can operate and even grow with this rate, why can the government not do so?  If this is the income level of successful business investors, the income level with which they buy homes and provide for their families and purchase cars and pay taxes and purchase insurance and prepare for retirement, why is this not enough for the government?  Why is there never an end to the talk of increasing taxes?

Do you know the answer?

There is a saying: “Follow the money.”  Indeed, if one follows the money one will answer the question as to why the government never has enough.

The answer is very disturbing, even angering.

Taxation without Representation

Taxation without representation is alive and well in Wichita, Kansas. But that is the way in America, today.

Tomorrow we Wichitans have the extremely rare occasion of being able to vote against local corruption and deception.

A local group has fought hard against the big money of Wichita to try to keep a gross injustice from being perpetrated. The City Council has cheated and lied to us. These so-called leaders have given unfair precedence and favor to one developer and future local hotel owner over all the others.

A special sales tax that is supposed to go toward the promotion of Wichita and its businesses, a sales tax that all of the motels and hotels must charge to their customers, will be treated differently for this hotel. This hotel will be allowed to keep 75% of this tax while all the others must pay it to the city.

Is this fair?

Is it in any way right to pass a tax for a specific purpose and then use it for something else, to use it to promote one group of developers over everyone else?

Is this how we want to treat people who invest their own money in business in Wichita? Do we really want to penalize those who have invested in this area and depend upon fair business practices in order to survive?

For more information, visit Tax Fairness for All Wichitans.

A couple of weeks ago I prepared a much longer article on the details of this issue, but did not want to post it. The group, Tax Fairness for All Wichitans, has put the information together and posted at their web site. Do Wichita a favor and learn the facts and then vote against this unfair City Council action tomorrow, February 28th.

Epitome of Misnomers or Oxymorons

Today as I sat waiting at a traffic light I snapped this photograph. Since it is not at all clear, I am including a graphic link below it.

Is this not the epitome of misnomers or oxymorons?

Dirty Rotten Thieves

The following report is from a newsletter that a friend, a real estate agent who helped us find our home, sends regularly.

Air Conditioners are being stolen.

Nope, not the window units, you can carry by yourself, but the big one behind your house.

On Sunday, I held an open house at one of my listings. I went inside and it was 97 degrees. I turned down the thermostat, nothing. I kept trying to work the digital thermostat, thinking it was stuck on a pre-set temp.

After 20 minutes, it finally occurred to me that there was no sound of the unit engaging. I went outside. There was the cement pad, but no unit on top of the pad. The wires were cut. The framing for the unit was partially scattered around the yard. I talked to a neighbor who was mowing the grass for the seller. He did not see anything amiss over the last week.

The property is getting a new air-conditioning unit. The seller informed me today that the cost was about $2700 for the new unit. The owner was not sure if the unit was going to be covered with the insurance.

If you have a vacant home, you need to tell your insurance company. Sometimes they give you six months of time to sell the house. Sometimes, they raise your rates. However, if your property is vacant and something is stolen or vandalized, the homeowners insurance can deny your claim because you did not inform them it was not occupied. They can cancel your insurance immediately, if they find out.

This story was told to me by another agent at Prudential, LeAnna Beat. The bad guys tend to target vacant houses; but who’s to say, they might go after yours or mine next?

So, these units are most likely being stolen by selfish brutes who care only about obtaining money for themselves and whatever their purposes may be, stolen most likely for the aluminum to take to one of the local recyclers. At most, $50. Let’s be ridiculous and say $200 (No way!) But even at this, for a pitiful $200 these creeps cost their neighbors $2700. Moreover, each of these incidents causes insurance rates to go up for us all.

The minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. How long would these creeps have to work at a real job for this same $200? How long? About 27 hours. But the real price was probably not even $50, so how long for $50? This would be less than one day of honest work at minimum wage.

How many hours did these creeps spend casing the place to be sure it was vacant? How long did they work to destroy their neighbor’s property? How much more time did they expend on stripping the unity of its aluminum, because such a unit intact would be nearly worthless. The aluminum must be clean of steel and other metals and plastic to be of any significant value. How much time did it take for them to take it to the recycler? In all, they very likely expended more time and energy stealing than they would have expended doing some productive labor someplace, AND they put themselves at risk of harm and arrest. Worse, they injured their neighbors.

This is beyond sad.

But these are mere petty thieves. The damage that they do to society is insignificant compared to the organized thieves who rape entire societies and entire nations.

Consider the ongoing theft that is perpetrated by the central bankers. Amazingly, they not only rob people of everything that they earn, but they convince them to thank them for it.

Through the creation of more and more money, inflation is pressed upon the people. The rate of money creation is greater than the need. Borrowing is the mode of doing business. Thus more and more money is feloniously fabricated from nothing, bringing the value continually downward.

Today 10% inflation is counted as zero. It is counted as the norm of necessary growth. And so what a person possesses today is devalued over time to be worthless, because the value has been absorbed by those who control the supply of fictitious money.

This table illustrates the time frame for inflation at 10 percent.

This table illustrates the continual inflation of the cost of money at the rate of 10 percent annually. The third column shows the amount that a person must add to one’s savings and earnings to maintain the same value. The fourth column shows the actual decrease in the value of every dollar by the end of the year due to the inflated cost of the money.

As can be seen in this table, by the end of the seventh year the cost of the money has almost doubled. Thus, by the end of the seventh year the dollar that was possessed at the beginning of the first year is now worth only a nickel.

Where did the value go? It was absorbed by the Federal Reserve, or the Bank of England, or the Bank of China, or whichever of the central banks for that particular country. At 10 percent annual inflation it only takes 7 years for the Federal Reserve to absorb 100% of the value of whatever is earned and owned. They simply conjure up more fictitious money and the cycle continues.

But it is even more deviously clever than this. The Federal Reserve has confiscated control of the money supply from the people so that the government must buy money to pay its debts. It does this through treasury notes, for which the Federal Reserve prints or fabricates money at no cost to purchase. The government then pays interest on these notes. To pay this interest, more money is needed and so more notes are drafted thus creating more debt and more interest.

Therefore, not only is the people’s money stolen through inflation, but also through ever increasing taxes, to pay the debt that the government forces upon them, for after all, we are the government and therefore we must pay the debts.

Investigating the additional ways in which theft is perpetrated by the central bankers leads to even more heartache and astonishment. But surely this is sufficient to show who the truly dirty rotten thieves are. They don’t just destroy and steal an air conditioning unit here and there. They take everything and strip the people bare so that even what little they have managed to save for their heirs is taxed away.

Will the people eventually wake up? If they finally do, will it matter any more? Can anyone even give an accurate figure for the current so-called national debt?

Oh, by the way, Amos and the other prophets decried such things in their day, but as the Lord foretold, the situation is becoming worse and the bankers/beast is nearing total domination.

Where have all the police gone?

My neighbor has been in need of a ride home from work of late. He works in a part of town that is not safe to be walking late at night and he is released from work at 11:15 pm. His work place is seven and a half miles away, and after a long day’s work, that is a long way to have to walk home through dangerous neighborhoods. So, late Friday night he and I were traveling homeward on South Seneca and we saw a myriad of flashing colored lights around Seneca Bowl.

As we drew nearer we had to slow down. Police cars were lined up all along the north block. They filled the west parking lot. Twelve police cars were lined up along Seneca. More police cars were packed into the south parking lot and the parking lots of the neighboring businesses. My best estimate is a count of over forty police cars. At least one helicopter continued flying overhead.

Why? Was this a hostage situation? Was this a dirty bomb threat by terrorists?

After driving home I tried to glean information from various news reporting agencies. Nothing showed up anywhere. Saturday’s newspaper showed nothing either. Surely such an enormous disturbance in the neighborhood warranted some form of public explanation!

Today I called the bowling alley and asked about the situation. I was informed that a couple of jerks started fighting and the police officer that is hired to maintain security radioed for back up. But his radio cut out and the dispatcher signaled that an officer was in distress.

Now I sympathize with those who serve as police officers that if an officer is in need of help that they all want to come to their brother’s aid. I understand that they all relate to the sense of need not to be left alone in such a situation. But the dispatcher knew that it was a simple situation of two jerks fighting. Is there any justification for 40 or more police cars cramming into such a small area for such little reason? Is there any justification for leaving the rest of the city unguarded?

What about the distress that they caused to the poor people of the neighborhood? What about those especially who live next to this block? I live five blocks from there and it troubled my spirit. Surely those who were closer must have felt troubled.

Moreover, this was a terrible waste of manpower and money.

I do not want to disparage the police and sheriff’s departments nor those who serve. Nevertheless, something is very askew in this matter. This is not right. It is actually a dangerous thing. This is a very serious lack of effective communication in matters that impact the community’s safety. How is such error possible? How can two belligerent and unruly jerks become cause for an enormous invasive force of armed agents of the government?

Was this a joke? What could the officers have been thinking to pile upon each other as they did? The parking lots were jammed full of police vehicles. It was nearly like the nutty pile up scenes in comedy movies where the silly police ram into each other, flipping and crashing and landing on each other while the bad guys race off unscathed. Perhaps this is why it went unreported in the media. How would the city of Wichita and Sedgwick County explain this without embarrassment? My neighbor was able to observe two handcuffed men sitting in the parking lot, but no other activity besides the horde of police vehicles, as we drove past. Two silly men and forty or more police vehicles with the accompanying officers. Wow. Such proficiency leaves one in awe. No wonder we keep hearing about the need to increase taxes to provide for a larger police budget.

City OKs $430 million Kellogg design

Bilking the people of their money seems to be a movement that knows no limits. The Wichita Eagle article City OKs $430 million Kellogg design reports the city's plans for a 4 1/2 mile expressway enhancement project that will cost $430,000,000. That is a lot of money for a project where most of the property is already owned. That is a lot of money for the same big contractors. But that's OK. The people will pay for it.

1-cent sales tax

What a powerful and BIG deception! How often is this deception used to make such a tax seem insignificant? This is not a one cent tax. It is a One PERCENT tax. If a person buys $100.00 of groceries, the tax is not $0.01 but $1.00! How many people are able to go to the supermarket and walk out spending only one dollar, thus one penny of sales tax?

The article shares without any emphasis the fact that so far 13 miles of this project have been completed at a cost of 550 million dollars. The current project of only 4.5 miles will cost 430 million dollars, and that is only the preliminary guess. 1/3 as much highway, in an area where no residences will have to be purchased and no big department stores will need to be torn down, 1/3 as much highway will cost almost as much as the entire project has cost thus far.

Here is the satelite map of that area.

It truly amazes me that the people continue to elect to office those who are promoted by the business mobsters who profit from such swindles. People continue to read the Eagle and watch the news casts without seriously questioning what is reported. Even though the facts are often included, people do not evaluate the meaning and learn from it.

Is this project really even necessary? How much time will it save people? Will it save two minutes? Will it prevent serious accidents? What really is gained through this expenditure of $430,000,000? Is this really what Wichita needs? Is this really the best investment of such a sum? If this really must be done, could not the same benefit be achieved at a lesser sum?

Why do we not demand answers to such questions? Why do we continue to allow this fraud and waste and misuse of power at every level of government?

Congressional Switchboard

Has the Congressional Switchboard ever been as busy as in the last few years? Trying to dial the numbers for the Congressional Switchboard today yields a busy signal or the nasty 3 tone ear blast followed by “We’re sorry, all circuits are busy.”

An interesting aside was noted by a friend regarding one of the toll free numbers for the switchboard. The number is 877-762-8762. Using the keypad letters this spells 877 SOB U SOB, or Servants of Bankers You Servants of Bankers.

This is an interesting observation. One can hardly count it as funny, though.

At the pace that Congress is working to force new legislation into law, letters via the US Postal Service are too slow. Emails seem largely to be ignored. And the Congressional Switchboard is overloaded.

So the frustrated people of the country turn to talk radio where they pacify one another, telling each other that they are great Americans and the like.

More and more diatribe and lambasting is encouraged as banter and even more perverse, as making a difference. What should be acted upon is turned into a game, into word play. Talkers sign contracts for millions of dollars while those calling in are pacified and directed to useless tea parties and other impotent gatherings of noise makers who cry out about how their government is abusing them and bankrupting them. Meanwhile, those who actually take action by stepping outside the two party system are vilified or demeaned and diminished, if not completely ignored.

How many people have even heard of the recent bill that has been sponsored that calls for a complete audit of the international banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve? How many people have even heard of H.R. 1207: Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009? Have the so-called conservative talk show hosts been discussing it? Have they encouraged people to consider the merits of this bill? Or is the traditional lambasting of the Democrats what they have promoted?

What value exists in lambasting others without taking decisive action oneself?

Where does all of the interest earned by the Federal Reserve go? The interest that is charged to the federal government should be accounted for, should it not? Does the Federal Reserve association of bankers pay taxes on its income? Why is the federal government charged interest on its own money in the first place? Does anyone keep track for the sake of the general welfare of the citizens of the nation? Why is HR 1207 not front page headline news?

Disturbing Developments

If you think that what our government leaders are doing is disturbing, regarding the deliberate destruction of our and the world’s economies, stripping us of our Constitutionally guaranteed protections and rights, taxing us out of existence, taking absolute control of “health care” a.k.a. “life and death”, check out what our tax dollars are funding according to this article:

'Flesh-eating robot' is actually a vegetarian, say inventors

According to this article:

The concept was originally put forward in 2003, and has been pushed forward with money from the US military's Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency, Darpa, a successor to the organisation that funded early development of the internet.

US officials hope that the steam-powered engine can be used by the military to create a self-sufficient robot that could survive on its own for months at a time. Possible uses put forward by the team include a battlefield ambulance or mobile gun turret.

Amazing! Congress is pressing legislation to tax us for breathing and for living by taxing us for Carbon Dioxide emissions — the product of life and of any activity of living organisms — while simultaneously developing war robots that mimic such life activities.

This they call “progress” and “development.”

I wonder how many Americans agree.

Frightening!

Saturday I encountered a truly frightening individual!

She came with a happy and friendly countenance. She brought information about a candidate whom she supports. She was willing to converse politely. She was willing to hear the views of another. She openly expressed her views.

So what was so frightening?

During the conversation she expressed her support for her choice in presidential candidates. As part of the discussion I asked whether she liked paying taxes.

Her answer was, "Yes!"

I asked what she thought of the idea of returning to the Constitutional form of taxation that would allow people to decide for themselves how to spend their incomes, using a form of taxation that allowed people to keep their incomes and use their incomes as they believed best. Her answer was that she did not believe that the people should be allowed to make that decision because the people do not know how to use their incomes rightly.

This is an educated woman, an attorney. She is articulate and says that she has read the Constitution and makes use of it in her vocation.

She is convinced that "We the People" should not be understood in the sense that it is used in the Preamble of our Constitution. She is convinced that "We the People" don't know how we need to be governed and that we need to turn over even the decisions regarding the right use of the fruits of our labors to those who know better, namely, bureaucrats.

I was truly shocked by her words. It made me truly afraid for our nation.

As mentioned above, the problem is not a lack of education. In fact, the education that has been forced upon us, often even against our will, other times through cleverly disguised deception, is the cause of this dilemma. We have been educated to accept the economic system that is enslaving our people and stealing away from us our freedoms. We have been educated to believe that government is our savior and deliverer and that more and more power should be granted to it. We have been educated to accept that there are times when the safeguards against government that are clearly established in our Constitution must sometimes be set aside and thus, things like the Patriot Act are now in place and even counted as necessary by many.

So the government continues to move us farther and farther from the safety provided by our Constitution. Our lives are being forced into more and more dependence upon the government, which is carrying us toward global dominionism, from which there will be no place to flee.

Until the Patriot Act is used in abuse of a person, for most people, the individual response, which becomes the collective response, is: "Well, it has not happened to me!"

The same is true of taxation. Until an individual actually experiences personally the devastation that is being wrought by the many forms of taxation, most importantly income taxation and inflation, the common individual, collectively with all other individuals looking only to self, does not allow himself to care.

But then, what do I know and why should I care? I'm only an individual who has established a small business in service to others. I'm only an individual who has tried to provide employment for others, but was forced to stop hiring because of the crushing burdens of the many forms of taxation and governmental regulations and accounting requirements. I'm merely a silly individual who seeks to provide a service to others at the highest level of quality that I know how to provide while also seeking to be as conservative and efficient as possible so as to be able to keep the costs to those whom I serve as low as I am able.

It seems that in our day this is counted as unAmerican. In fact, by some it is even called uncaring and unloving and negative.

As for me, while the government has made it impossible for me to hire people anymore, I will simply help people in whatever small ways that I am able. I will continue to give the best that I have to give for the best price that I can afford to charge. I will defend the Constitution in word and deed. I will continue to count this as the American way, AND I will only vote for those who say and do likewise.

Of course, above all, even when these things are taken from me by those who are "better and more caring" than I, I will continue to preach the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ and will continue to administer the pure Sacraments to those who desire to receive them. This I will do until I am rendered physically unable to continue.

Chuck Baldwin on NPR

On the October 18, 2008 National Public Radio broadcast Weekend Edition Saturday, host Scott Simon, interviewed Chuck Baldwin.

The interview is available here.

The transcript of the interview is provided as well as a link for listening to the interview.

However, there is a commentary that precedes the transcript, and in this commentary a very important misstatement is made. The commentary says:

As president, Baldwin says, he would work toward overturning the 16th Amendment, which establishes Congress' authority to levy taxes. In addition, he would like to see the IRS and the Federal Reserve disbanded.

The misstatement is in the report that the 16th Amendment establishes Congress’ authority to levy taxes. This is a false statement. The authority of Congress to levy taxes is established in section 7 of the First Article of the Constitution. The 16th Amendment establishes a tax on income. This was something never intended by the founding fathers and was added to the powers of Congress in 1913. The misstatement implies that without the 16th Amendment that Congress will be unable to levy the taxes necessary. This is a false implication and the reader should beware.

What Baldwin, like Ron Paul, wants to do, is to set the American people free from the slavery created by the taxes upon their incomes, and to set them free from the slavery of having to report every aspect of their lives to the government. Imagine how much more productive people’s lives would be if they were set free from the endless tax forms and regulations. Imagine how much more disposable income people would have if they did not have such large portions of their paychecks withheld from them against their wills. Imagine how such an increase in disposable income would benefit the economy, as people were set free to utilize their incomes as they choose, rather than having the government tell them how much they can keep for themselves, for their families, and for their posterity
