American Citizen Imprisoned in Iran

It seems strange that such a petition would be necessary. Saeed Abedini is an American citizen. Both Congress and Obama know of his illegal arrest and imprisonment.
But then the same is true here in America, where citizens also are known to be innocent of the crimes for which they have been convicted and are nevertheless still held in prisons. Such cases, whether here at home or in far away Iran, should be addressed with urgency.

Who’s Your Daddy?
Wow!
I’m just here to support the president of the United States. The president of the United States is, you know, our boss. But he’s also, you know, the president and the first lady are kind of like the mom and the dad of the country. And when your dad says something, you listen. And when you don’t, it usually bites you in the ass later on. So, I’m here to support the president.
Wow! I wonder whether this was meant as a joke. After all, Mr. Rock is a professional jokester who will say or do anything for a laugh.
Having observed the decline in societal ability to think, however, it seems that he may be serious. For the last hundred years Americans have accepted more and more spoon-fed doctrine from the media, Hollywood, government and so-called education.
This is actually a very easy sell. The most effective deceptions are those that mimic the truth the most closely.
Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. (Ephesians 6:2-3)
From this all authority flows. This is the natural order, ordained by the Lord God from the very beginning. This law, this truth, is written on our hearts and in our consciences. It is taught to us by our generation into this world. It is taught from our conception, gestation, parturition, and rearing. We come into this world by the coming together of our father and mother. We are brought forth into the world entirely dependent upon them for everything. Honoring them is the natural response. In honoring them, we ourselves are blessed. In honoring them we are kept safe by their protection and care and instruction. In honoring them, we are properly fed and clothed and housed. In honoring them, we learn what is good for us. These are undeniable facts, even when the parents are not all that they should be. Even when parents are abusive and evil, many of the blessings that accompany honoring them still manifest themselves.
So it seems that Mr. Rock is actually right. The President is our boss and the president and his wife are like our dad and mom. It is indeed meet, right, and salutary that we honor them.
It is sad that very often the full declaration of the Fourth Commandment is not embraced.
Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:2-4)
Parents and those in authority are not to forget the one from whom this special honor is entrusted. They are not to act as though this authority were theirs for their own purposes or glory. Parents and those in authority are given this authority from above. They are specially designated servants of their Father, to rule according to His will for the sake of His family.
When parents and those in authority forget this, their actions do indeed provoke the children to wrath. Where the love of God is not acknowledged as the source of all good, parents and rulers become abusive of their power and those under their rule eventually rebel. Neither the abuse of power nor the rebelling is good. Neither is of God and His gracious will.
From the beginning all things were created good. Life was peaceful and harmonious. But the devil tried to raise himself above God and thereby cast away from himself the love of God. Lucifer cut himself off from the good and gracious will of God and led a rebellion in a vain attempt to make himself God. The stupidity of such an attempt is astounding, to think that the creature would seek to overthrow the Creator.
Once the rule of God’s love was lost to Lucifer, he acted according to his self-made image. He acted hatefully and deceitfully, seeking to overthrow and destroy everything that God had created. Adam fell for the temptation, but the Lord came calling him back into the life of grace with the confrontation of his sinful choice and the promise of the Seed of Woman who would crush the hateful head/ruler of the serpent.
With this promise, stated as a condemnation of the serpent and its head, flowed the further promise of restoration of the family order. Woman was promised that despite her usurpation of her husband’s rule that she would be moved toward him again so that he would rule over her and that together they would be God’s instruments of life through the promised Seed. Adam was promised that the ground from which he was made would resist his efforts so that he would be continually called to turn from his own efforts and choices to trust the Lord and His Word.
For those who trusted in the Lord and clung to His Word and promise, no other rule was necessary. It was always the refusal to trust the Lord that led people to appoint rulers for themselves to whom they would be subjected. The chosen people of Israel had only the rule of the Word, taught through their parents, until they chose not to trust the Lord and to demand to be subjected to a king like the other nations had chosen for themselves.
In the Church, however, we see the Lord’s order restored. In the Church there is only the servant/slave of the Word ordained over the families. This slave is called shepherd, or pastor, or elder, or presbyter/over-seer. His rule over the Lord’s household is strictly defined as the pure preaching and administration of the Word and the Sacraments. From this all the families are restored to the life of grace, mercy, and peace in which parents are honored and obeyed and children are brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
At Pentecost this was manifested with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the conversion of at least 3000 souls. The life in which they shared was a beautiful manifestation of God’s gracious rule amongst His saints. And in every place where the Lord rules through His means of grace, this is the result. It is true today just as it was then.
Sadly though, it is a rare occurrence today. As with the people of Israel, those professing to be the Church often do not trust the Lord to rule through His means of grace and so they begin to subject themselves to rulers of their own choice. In every case tyranny is the result. The people turn from the Lord and what He has ordained and bind themselves to various forms of tyranny with such devotion that they endure terrible things as if they were necessary. It is as James warns in James 4 and James 5.
Those who trust in the Lord and walk in His ways do not appoint earthly rulers for themselves. Rather, they subject themselves to the rulers whom the Lord raises up over them. First He gives them parents. Secondly He gives them pastors. He also gives them rulers whom the rebellious have raised up in their rebellion. The saints subject themselves to such rulers for the sake of good order, obeying in all things which do not demand sinful acts on their own part. Wherever the rulers demand what is wrong, the saints peacefully disregard the tyrannical orders and suffer the abuses that result.
And so Mr. Rock is right, regardless of whether or not he knows why. But does this mean that the president should be supported in disobeying the authority under which he is subjected? When he is placed with an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, is he to be supported when he willfully disobeys the authority under which he is placed?
The American people have squandered the power given to them to hold such unlawful rulers in check. They have chosen to squander their votes, voting for the lesser of two evils. They have worshiped their false security of the promise of pensions and Social Security checks and voted according to their idolatry. They have voted for a woman’s right to choose death rather than voting to defend life for all. They have voted to support our soldiers, even when the military was being used for wicked and evil agendas. They have voted with selfish and irresponsible motives and so they have elected selfish and irresponsible and even wicked rulers.
Now they cry out and wonder how this could happen, and worse, many say that they are thankful that the consequences will come after they have departed from this world without genuine care for those who will be left to endure the consequences. What sort of parents and grandparents would speak with such selfish and wicked disregard for their responsibilities? Mr. Rock stood and said that he supports Obama in violating the Constitution. Is this not what the passing generation has done as well? Have they not ignored their responsibilities concerning the younger generations? Those who fear, love, and trust in God above all things do not act in this way. They love their neighbors as themselves. They honor father and mother and they display this honor as loving fathers and mothers. They endure abuse while speaking out for what is right and true and calling for right treatment of their families and neighbors.
Oh that people understood the holiness of the Lord that is taught to us in the Ten Commandments. Then we would not have wars and rumors of wars but we would fall together on our knees confessing our need for remission of our sins and reconciliation to God and one another. No one who bows the knees and head to God as Father and Redeemer and Savior and Justifier and Sanctifier rises up rebelliously to murder and make war. Rather, the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guards their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus forevermore. Where peace rules honor is displayed toward all.

The Global Future - Sustainable Development

The globalists of the world do. They have been planning your future and the future of your family and the future of the people of the world for many decades already. They have an actual agenda: Agenda 21, UNCED
At Agenda 21, UNCED the agenda is currently available as PDF or HTML. But the UN keeps changing their site, making it hard to link to this information.
The global agenda planners call their planning “Sustainable Development” and “Sustainable Living.” These terms have been circulated through the media and the government schools. They are being used throughout the Green Movement at every level of government, from the local county and city planners to the national governments of the world.
During the 1990s, the terms were being inculcated but the source was kept more or less secret. The people of the world were not told openly that this terminology and planning was a global scheme planned by the powerful elite of the world.
The terms were carefully chosen to sound innocuous. But if a person reads carefully and with discernment, one begins to realize what is really enshrined in the terminology and agenda.
What does Sustainable Development really mean? To the innocent observer it sounds as though wise use of natural resources in ways that promote clean and efficient usage that coincides with natural renewability is the agenda. But as one reads with discernment and wariness, one soon perceives that the actual sustainable development of this agenda is the development of sustainability of power and control for the elite over the rest of the people of the world.
This agenda has been propagated through the media and every social network for decades, since long before social networking was a term in common parlance. The result is that most people are oblivious to the changes in power structuring that have been implemented.
The agenda reaches even farther back into history, if one accounts the secret societies and their centuries of activities. For example, most people have been conditioned to think of the Masonic Lodge in connection with the Shriners, without even considering what it means to be a Shrine-er. In times past, the Shriners shrined and shrouded the covert activities of the lodges, presenting a facade of foolishness and innocent childish enactments as a cover for the real workings of their lodges.
An organization that few people know about is the World Constitution and Parliament Association (WCPA). In earlier years this was a very secretive group. In the 1990s only a few knew of it and stepped forward to expose the group and its agenda. Since then the WCPA has gone public, but not openly so. Have you ever heard of this organization? Has it been reported in the media?
The purpose of this organization is the implementation of a One World Order, a one world government. This organization has been responsible for drafting The Constitution for the Federation of Earth — "The Earth Constitution".

That sounds wonderful! Doesn’t it?
It does indeed, at least until one considers what it really says. It says that a single standard or flag or banner will replace all national standards. Is this really what the people want? Are the people of the world really clamoring for a new world order in they which will no longer have any options? Are the people of the world really desiring to have their every movement monitored and regulated by a far away group of elite controllers? Do the people really want to have their national uniqueness stripped away from them with a new unilateral way imposed upon them?

What does this look like to you? Does this look like a gathering for a religious conference? Is that not what the slogan “Democratic World Law is the twenty-first century form of love” suggests?

Doesn’t this group make you feel good about having them determining how you must live your life? Are you not filled with confidence for the future as you think of those who call themselves the “World Thinkers and Poets” drafting the laws by which you will be governed?
“Democratic World Law is the twenty-first century form of love”, does this not bring to memory how George W. Bush spoke of “Spreading Democracy” to nations that he and his advisors determined to be in need of being invaded and conquered and occupied by U.S. military forces? Is this not the same rhetoric of Barack Hussein Obama, or Barack H. Obama, as he was sworn in for the second time, as he expands this concept of World Love through the drone attacks in addition to other bombings, assassinations, manhunts, and military force?
Many Americans have accepted this rhetoric. They gather behind their political party and cheer. They especially cheer when their favorite leader says: “And God bless America” or “Thank you. God bless you, and may He forever bless these United States of America.”
Is a world-wide religion being promoted by the slogan: “Democratic World Law is the twenty-first century form of love”? On this you may find Gary Kah’s Historical Summary from his book, “The New World Religion,” an informative read.
Furthermore, even without the new world religious considerations, the means of enforcement and implementation of this new world government and constitution is eye opening. Consider what the WCPA The Constitution for the Federation of Earth — "The Earth Constitution" says especially in “Article 10 • The Enforcement System” and “Article 17 • Ratification and Implementation.”
Read these with the language of Agenda 21 in mind. Then observe the changes already being forcibly imposed upon your own locality. Observe the many increases in taxes, fees, and regulations. Observe how often the term “sustainable” and “green” are the motivational control words. Observe how often financial institutions are using these terms to manipulate you into surrendering personal control to them. Observe how often the concept of “world peace” has been and continues to be used to reform people’s thinking to willing acceptance of more and more regulation and control by the governing entities.
This is a great and enormous load for a person to carry. Such knowledge can be overwhelming.
For those who desire to have this and other burdens lessened and even removed, I offer the reminder that such is available through the one true religion of the one true God, the Lord, Yahweh, Jesus.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. For those who are willing to consider it, there is an historical fact that is really quite marvelous to ponder. In the history of the world there was one nation, one people, who needed no government to be imposed upon them. Those who trusted in the Lord had only His divinely ordained order for family. No other government was needed, for the Lord was their true Shepherd and they trusted in Him and walked in His ways. Even when the Lord delivered His people from their bondage in Egypt, they had no external government. As long as they continued in the true fear and love of the Lord their God, they had peace, both amongst themselves as well as peace from attack by foreign kingdoms.
But they kept turning away to trusting in their own desires and reason and in the ways that they observed amongst other peoples. Each time they suffered as the Lord and His holy life were pushed aside and out of their lives. Eventually they demanded that Samuel give them a king like that of the other nations. Samuel warned them of what such a demand would bring upon them and how they would lose the freedom that exists only in the blessed communion of the Lord. But they insisted and then they had to endure harsh treatment and regulations and taxation and conflicts.
Yet the Lord promised that He would raise one up from among them through whom He would restore His divine rule so that they would again enjoy His peace, His rest or Sabbath.
We all long for this deep in our souls. This is why Glen T. Martin chose the phrase: “Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair.” This is an appeal to the conscience in which God has written His eternal Law. “Repair” is a term for rest, or Sabbath. The Lord established this from the Seventh Day. Mankind has a deep yearning for this to be restored, even though mankind also resists it continually.
This blessed Sabbath Rest is the rule of peace that the Lord promised with the promise of the Messiah or Christ. This peace is superior to the peace that people imagine and strive to achieve for themselves. This peace can and does exist and even prevails in the midst of the most extreme crises. For those who are baptized into the body of Christ, into God’s kingdom on earth, this peace now rules and guards their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as St. Paul assures us in Philippians 4:7.
There are many religions and even many Christian religions that offer a path to peace. But the peace of God is not found through following a path. Rather, the peace of God in Christ IS the path. It is the path upon which, or more precisely, into which we are regenerated by the Holy Spirit through the water of Baptism. Jesus Himself is the path or the way or the hodos. For those in whom the faith to believe this has been generated from above, they continually abide in this peace, this way of life. They continually come to the Sacrament where Jesus is received again and again along with all that He promises to give to His beloved disciples. They go forth renewed in Christ and His grace, mercy, and peace to face the daily lack of peace in the world. This peace of God empowers them to continue in His peace even in the most extreme circumstances and trials. This peace carries them through in the victory that has already been won for them on the cross and imparted to them in their baptism.
For those who seek to find peace through their own efforts, rejecting the means of grace through which this peace of God is given freely, they continue to seek and struggle and strive to obtain what they only imagine for themselves. They obtain momentary sensations of peace, but never the enduring peace that overcomes all things.
After Joshua had led the people of Israel into the new land and established them in it by the hand of the Lord, he gathered them together at Shechem and said to them:
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
Notice that Joshua does not imply that abiding in God’s grace and peace and commandments is a choice that believers make. He actually declares exactly the opposite. He says that those who consider it evil to serve/worship the Lord are those who make a choice. Those who know the Lord as the Almighty and the Most High God who hears their prayers and delivers them from all of their enemies, even sin and death and the devil, those who fear Him so as to acknowledge Him as their omnipotent Savior and Redeemer so that they look to Him in every need in true trust as their heavenly Father, such serve/worship Him in accord with what He has ordained rather than seeking and choosing for themselves how best to live or to define and approach God. Such Godfearing people do not struggle to find peace. They abide in the peace that has been won for them through the struggles and strife of the One who did so in their stead. They do not seek to find this peace, neither do they strive to obtain it, neither do they fabricate ways to peace, for this peace possesses them, heart, mind, body, and soul. This peace guards and keeps them forevermore in their Prince of Peace, Christ Jesus.
Those who reject this way, who deny Jesus outrightly, they seek to obtain peace through various means of force. They try to regulate people to maintain peace. They try to “spread democracy” with guns and tanks and planes and ships and missiles and bombs. They try to coerce people into ways of peaceful control through World Constitutions and United Nations’ agendas.
What is worse yet is the way in which those who create a Jesus in their own image and so they seek to obtain peace through their own religions that they present as of Christ. Such “Christians” have rejected the express declarations of Jesus that His kingdom is not of this world and that His kingdom is a spiritual kingdom and that the kingdom of God does not come by observation and that it especially does not come through worldly government by the power of the sword or gun. And so such things as Christian Crusades and Inquisitions have been promoted and exercised. Less overt methods are pursued, too, such as the Church Growth Movement, the Ecumenical Movement, Evangelism Programs, Revivals, Evangelism Crusades, Altar Calls, and TV/Radio Evangelism. When each of these are examined for what they really are they are exposed as more subtle ways of coercion and methodology. And so people are told to make decisions and choices and commitments that they do not have the power to fulfill. People are told to make Christ the center of their life and they struggle ever after to try to convince themselves that they have done so sufficiently. On and on the struggles arise.
The peace that the Scriptures of the Holy Spirit teach is the peace that is received purely as a gift, through means ordained by the Giver of this peace. His ordained means require nothing of those who receive them. The power and efficaciousness of these means are entirely independent of those who receive them. The Giver is the one who acts. He gives freely by grace through faith, and even this faith is His work and gift.
As for me, I will stand with Joshua in saying, “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” After all, of what does serving the Lord consist beyond the “Amen” that faith produces?

Green Or Else
At 2 meter opponents arrested in Naperville: 'A society of violating one another' the article reports that two residents of Naperville were arrested for saying “No” to the forced invasion of their property to forcibly install spy equipment known as Smart Meters. Two ladies were arrested for crying out against this rape.

At the end of the video interview City Manager Doug Krieger says: “Uh, we absolutely are not bullies. I...I believe that we bent over backwards to accommodate them.”
Apparently arresting women in their own yards is accommodating them. Apparently forcibly installing electronic equipment in people’s homes against their protests is accommodating them.
A clear message is being sent to the citizenry. “Shut up and let us do whatever we choose to do to you, Or ELSE!”

A few still cry out in the name of liberty, expecting to be protected by the Constitution. But the Constitution has no power in a land where people elect officials who do not honor it and who appoint judges who overturn it. And where the rights of the helpless and those who have no voice nor vote are allowed to be trampled, the power-hungry become voracious.
The Old Testament prophets cried out with strong warnings concerning the wolves who feed on the widows and fatherless, the poor and the homeless, the downtrodden and the wandering foreigners. When the people abide in the way of the Lord, the widows and orphans receive care and help, and the poor and homeless are clothed and fed, and the downtrodden and wandering strangers are lifted up by those whose love flows from their own knowledge of being loved. This never is enacted by government programs, but always through those made merciful through receiving the Lord’s limitless mercies.
Sadly, the saints have always been outnumbered in this world. Yet throughout history their lives have made a difference for many and God’s grace has shown even in the shadow of the powerful and uncaring.
Green or Else has come upon the land. It is no longer a future threat. But God’s grace is greater and will most surely carry those who trust Him through every dark time until the fullness of the glory of His coming leaves no more shadows.
Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them,
Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

The Painful Reality of Going Green
This week I had the pleasure of meeting a very sweet gentleman of a few more years than myself. We worked together for a couple of days on the same property where a couple of large trees, one damaged and one dead, needed to be removed.
We had many opportunities to converse. In the sharing he told me of many hardships that he has faced in his life. One of these was the terrible tornado that devastated the town of Greensburg, Kansas in May of 2007. This gentleman had just re-roofed his house. In the roofing process he decided to storm proof the house. He ran 3/8 inch logger chain up the studs and over the rafters, anchoring the entire house to the ground. His house was the only house standing in his block after the storm. The only damage to his house was from the roof of another house striking the peak of his roof and from a two by four that was driven through one of the walls. Otherwise his house was in perfect condition.
However, when he applied for a permit to repair the very minor damage, the city would not give him a permit and made him tear down his house. They were Going Green and were not allowing any homes to be left standing. They had to be rebuilt with the new GREEN regulations.
So this man lost his home to the Green movement. His house and property were stolen from him by the government through the false claims of eminent domain.
Furthermore, the people were not allowed back into the town to salvage their belongings. This man had a couple of Snap-on rolling tool chests full of tools in his shed. The shed and tools were bulldozed into the street and stolen from him. Also all of his appliances and supplies were stolen from him by FEMA and the EPA.
He lost everything.
How does destroying a home so that a new home with all new lumber and concrete and steel and appliances equate to being conservation minded and environmentally friendly?
How is it just to take a man’s belongings from him without any compensation whatsoever?
Wikipedia’s reporting at Greensburg, Kansas shows that in 2000 there were 1,574 people, 730 households, and 453 families residing in the city. According to the 2010 census there were 777 people, 355 households, and 212 families residing in the city.
How many businesses would have rebuilt and how many homes would have been rebuilt without the new Green requirements? Since the people were not given the choice, we will never know. However, the town is now less than half the size.
According to Five Years after Being Destroyed by Tornado, Greensburg, Kan. Rebuilds - Greener and Better, the town’s population was 1,400 in 2007 before the tornado (obviously an estimate). This report also estimates about 900 currently, a little better than half.

“When we first started talking to people about rebuilding and going green, nine out of 10 people came right back to us with, ‘I’m no tree hugger!’” according to Daniel Wallach, a Kansas businessman and one of the major driving forces in Greensburg’s return. “And now look at us. It’s just incredible.”
To whom does he refer when he says: “And now look at us.”?
“Only thing we had left was each other,” said Bob Dixson, who would become mayor of Greensburg one year after the storm. “You see everything wiped out, and you just pull together.”
Really? What about those who did not want to be forced into new debt and merely wanted to rebuild the town as it had been? What about those who did not want their town taken over by FEMA and out of town big money? What about those who were forced out and lost their property, not because of the tornadic destruction but because of eminent domain usurpation?
In the days and weeks after the storm, with the much-maligned Federal Emergency Management Team in town and offering aid, there were a few discussions about how best to rebuild Greensburg. But at the time, not many people wanted to hear it.
And what of those who did not want to hear it? What of their voices? What of their vote? What of their right to rebuild according to their own plans?
Whose town did Greensburg become?
Who pressed the new Green life upon Greensburg? What does Green really mean?
For those who own construction interests and the new Green technology, Green means mega $$$.
For lovers of liberty and justice for all, it means that the United Nations Agenda 21 is being implemented in full force. It means that the freedom to own property and use it according to one’s own best interest and goals is obliterated by those who use government to control others.
How many times have tyrants used this same kind of rhetoric to wrest control from the people? How many times have the people been persuaded to surrender their liberty and freedom and rights in the name of progress and rebuilding? Is this not the exact manner in which Hitler and those like him have risen to power?
This pattern begins small, like with a tiny town of 1,400, way out in the middle of what is counted as nowhere.
Here is Greensburg:
My new friend had a home there. He worked hard and invested to make his home lovely, strong, and safe. His work and investment paid off. His house survived the storm. But it could not survive the government.
Now he lives in Wichita where he had to purchase another house of lesser value than the one that he had. His home in Greensburg was wiped out by the Green agenda. How long till this spreads to Wichita? How long will his home, and mine, be safe from the Green agenda here in Wichita?

Military Training for Zombie Attacks
At Zombie Attack JBS CEO Art Thompson discusses: Zombie attack - U.S. Military and police engage in a mock zombie attack as part of training to control American civilians; and voter fraud, enough of it exists for Obama to welcome UN poll watchers to the U.S.
I have heard former military people say that they do not believe that the American military personnel as individuals will obey orders to take action against American civilians. Yet this is exactly what they are being trained to do. Both the military personnel as well as the citizenry are being prepared to accept this as what is soon to come.
Many people accept and even defend the unconstitutional actions and even existence of DHS, and TSA, the Patriot Act, and NDAA. Some people even imagine that it is a good thing to have UN poll watchers monitoring the American elections.
Once upon a time the American people believed the bold statements of the Declaration of Independence, especially those dealing with the declaration that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Once upon a time the American people believed that the Declaration’s stated purpose of government is absolutely correct, saying, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, ...”
Is this not what the American people believed once upon a time?
Did the people not believe that the purpose of government was to SECURE these rights of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, and not to restrict or control or even take away these rights?
Did the people not believe that governments and those who govern are the servants of this God who endows mankind with these unalienable rights? Is this not what caused America to be a land that flourished in spite of the fact that the elite abused this time and time again?
Surely as we examine America’s history, these unalienable rights have not been secured for all who lived under the protection of the American government. Surely we must admit that certain groups especially have suffered injustice and have endured the trampling of these unalienable rights.
The majority of Americans have turned a blind eye to these things so long as they were not personally affected by them. Sometime ignorance of the abuses or at least partial ignorance was the reason for people’s indifference and tolerance of these things. Sometimes it was motivated by prejudice. Sometimes it was fear. Sometimes is was simple apathy. Sometimes it was greed of various manifestations. The government schools certainly have played a role through indoctrination of the children and university students. The media also has added to this indoctrination.
Perhaps we are getting what we deserve or have asked for. Perhaps we are responsible for continually compromising and voting for “the lesser of two evils,” without accounting for the truth that this is still voting for evil.
The turning from true fear, love, and trust in God is undeniably the most significant factor.
Even those who do not truly fear, love, and trust in God, who nevertheless valued the doctrine of the Bible which teaches the commandments of love for neighbor, even such “unbelievers” held to a different standard and a different understanding of life in this world than is now being observed generally among us.
Those who signed the Declaration of Independence had this as the concluding paragraph of their Declaration:
We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
While these men were not united in their understanding and confession of who God is, and while they were not all of the same confession of the faith given by this God, they all signed their names and gave their pledges to the just ways declared in the Bible. It was their confidence and “firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence,” that moved them to further say, “we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”
Because of their “firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence” they were unwilling to turn a blind eye to the tyranny that was being forced upon them and their fellow countrymen, a tyranny that they knew would grow even worse for their progeny.
They stood against the king’s troops who were trained and sent to act against the citizens. They established a constitution that was designed to prevent the necessity of such action in the future.
But tyrants are crafty. They know how to twist words and used them for the opposite purpose of what they are intended. And in time the people forget their duty to love neighbor as self and to vote out the tyrants, even at the cost of losing some person fortune, honor, or even life or livelihood.
People forget that compromise is the same as surrender.

Surely this is enough to demonstrate the pattern and the reality of compromise.
Compromise of principles is always one sided. Those who want to reduce or eliminate the principle never compromise anything. The goal is to lessen or change or destroy the principle.
The side that holds to the principle or believe is the only side surrendering anything. They lose with the very first compromise. Once the principle has been compromised it is no longer the same principle. It has been lost and the power that it held has been broken.
The next compromise is easier to accomplish because the original purpose of the principle has already been lost. The power to protect or provide the original purpose is diminished.
Such is the way with the principle of limited government. Such is the way with the unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
When people forget who the author and giver of these unalienable rights is, they have already lost them or surrendered them. Then they begin looking to government and other sources to provide these. With the one who gives these purely by grace divorced from their trust and belief and confidence, they begin looking to those who must take from them to give back less than is taken.
The best example of this is given in1 Samuel 8 with the account of how the people of Israel turned from the freedom of having theLord as their king to demanding that Samuel give them a king like the rest of the nations had.
The Lord warned them concerning what they were bringing upon themselves, but they would not listen.
As is always the way, this began with compromising what the Lord had established. This began when Samuel’s sons began to compromise and to take bribes and to pervert justice.
The same thing happened with Eli’s sons a generation before. However, in this case the people cried out to the Lord, trusting Him to set things right again, which He did. He used the wicked Philistines to remove these unjust rulers. Then He appointed Samuel, who ruled justly, in accord with the decrees of the Lord.
But now, with Samuel’s sons, who apparently were not even as abusive as Eli’s sons were, the people turned from trusting the Lord to bring the needed reform, and looked instead to the ways of the other nations and demanded a king like they had. The result was that the protections that the Lord had given were lost through their own faithless choice.
Are we not seeing the same today as people turn more and more to earthly rulers and government, saying, “That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.”
Prior to this, they had only the Word of the Lord to rule and judge them. Now they would have an extensive legal system designed by their government. Now they would taxes and MORE taxes. Now they would have a standing army to support with both their money and theirs sons. Now they would have a police state. On and on the changes came until finally they rebelled against the king whom they had demanded to have rule over them, just like the other nations.
This is the way of the sinful human race.
But the Lord remains a God of grace, mercy, and peace. His continual desire is to call people back to His merciful love and forgiveness. He desires that people acknowledge Him as their Father, who rules with divine fatherly goodness and mercy so that they may enjoy the freedom of living in His kingdom, which is from above.
Thus He came to the world as one of us, born of the Seed that He built into the human genome with the creation of Woman, whom her husband renamed Eve, or Life, because of the promise of this future birth and victory of this Seed. God showed Himself as Immanuel, with us God. He took the special name of Jesus, the Lord saves. He reestablished His kingdom by coming in the flesh to His people so as to redeem all of mankind from the power of sin, which is death. He died with the sin of world in His own body. He was buried and then rose again free from this horrible burden for the sake of the everlasting freedom of all of mankind, to be received freely by grace through His appointed means. For all who do receive His grace through these divinely ordained means, life is restored in it fullness and they are regenerated into His kingdom of righteousness. For such people as receive His grace through these means, they are governed once again in spirit through His Word. Rules and regulations and laws are not necessary for they live by grace through faith. They live in this world, enduring the many things that unbelieving mankind imposes upon everyone, yet they live free of these things in the knowledge of their place in God’s everlasting kingdom in which all things are made right again, which will be fully revealed when He comes again in the fullness of His glory to separate the unbelieving wicked from those who are justified through faith.
Sadly, the AP report about the government labeling citizens as zombies actually is an accurate label. And so the zombie citizenry marches mindlessly to the tune of the devil, the flesh, and the world, not even realizing that they are voting for their own demise. Even though there are at least two candidates running for the office of president who openly oppose this way of tyranny, most will not even consider voting for either of them. The Constitution Party has a candidate and the Libertarian Party has a candidate. They both are far an above either of the Two Party Drones of the imperial globalists.
Amazingly, if everyone who said that these two so-called third party candidates cannot win actually voted for them, either of them could win by a landslide.
The question is whether people will vote according to what they believe to be right or whether they will yet again compromise and surrender to the evil empire.
It is amazing how powerful the result is when even a few people actually stand for what they believe is right. While I do not agree with everything that was said and done by those who stood against the tyrannical rule of the British empire, I certainly am left in awe of their commitment to what they believed. It is truly awesome to recount the horrific things that stood against them and to see that they nevertheless prevailed and birthed a new nation, a nation through which many, many people have been richly blessed. Even in the face of the atrocities that also have occurred, still, many, many people have been richly blessed.

As for myself, strictly speaking, I am not a Libertarian.
I do not believe that true liberty can exist without it being given from above. Liberty does not exist in a fallen world unless the hearts of people are first changed so that they love their neighbors as themselves. This requires that people love themselves. This requires that they know love themselves. This knowledge is a gift from the one who is love.
Love must first rule over all in order for true liberty to be realized by and for anyone.
Where love does not stand over all, tyranny raises itself and tramples all.
Love is a bondage in which true freedom is realized: freedom to love and live in love.
To break from this bond in an attempt to live freely is to bind oneself to everlastingly lovelessness and the fear of abuse. This is to make oneself both an abuser as well as the abused.
Government and governance are not causes of tyranny and abuse. Those who usurp this role are the causes of tyranny and abuse.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)
For all who live in the subjugation of God’s love, there is no fear of punishment nor torment. Where God’s love rules, those who are ruled live in the happy freedom of loving and being loved.
Such is the governance that exists in God’s kingdom of righteousness and holiness. In His kingdom the Law is nothing more than a declaration of His holiness which is shared by all.
It is only when His rule of love is not acknowledged that the Law takes the form of something to be feared, because then the Law has a sharp edge that cuts and pierces, as well as the blunt force of the hammer that crushes and mangles and destroys. Then fear of the consequences of disobedience arise.
When these laws are enforced by ungodly rulers, then fear of abuse also arises.
Such is the world in which we live, because the holy fear of God that casts out all fear is not observed.
People generally do not understand how fear of God can cast out fear. And so they redefine fear as something else, such as, respect. But true respect flows from perfect fear, love, and trust.
As an example, consider the force that we call gravity.
Ordinarily we give it little thought, even though we fear it. It is a powerful force that can destroy us. It causes us to experience what we call weight. It allows us to propel ourselves on account of the friction that it produces between our feet and the ground or our tires and the pavement. It keeps us from floating off into space. It holds things in place.
But if we fall, it causes us to accelerate toward the ground so that we receive injury. If we go deep enough under water it causes us to be crushed.
We fear it because it is powerful and so we also respect it and live in accord with the manner that it requires of us. But we cannot live safely without it. While it restrains us in certain ways, it also gives us freedom to live and act within the parameters that it establishes for us. Most of the time we do not even notice the restraining functions of this invisible force, simply enjoying its benefits to us. We ordinarily do not act fearfully concerning it and are even glad to experience its power in our daily activities, even though we many not consciously consider it.
In many ways, true and holy fear of God is like this. For those who truly fear God, love and trust are inseparable aspects of this relationship. When the triune God is known in connection with this trinity of relational aspects, life is experienced in its fullness and perfect freedom is enjoyed. Through this God rules the heart with grace, mercy, and peace. For those who truly fear, love and trust Him above all things, this is true even now, even while tyrants rule and abuse and pillage and plunder, but through lawlessness and through abusive laws.
Thus, while Libertarianism has worthy points, I am not a Libertarian. I rather confess and walk and live in the way of bondage to true freedom and love.

I find my self wondering how I ever was duped into believing that the government was about serving the people. How many generations have accepted this stern and even vicious image and its slogan as a portrayal of the United States and her government?
It is really quite frightening to realize what it actually says. It is perhaps even more frightening to realize that by and large we all have accepted this.

How Is a Blind Man’s Cane Mistaken for a Samurai Sword?
Who in his right mind would think that this white cane was a samurai sword and the man carrying it a dangerous threat?
Apparently police worldwide think so.

More and more this sort of “mistake” is occurring worldwide. How can such things be happening? How is it that this is becoming more and more common?
It is happening according to the plan.
People are being trained to see terrorists everywhere. Police are being trained to suspect everyone. Police and military personnel are trained to look for this.
At the airport and at city hall, ordinary citizens are treated as potential perpetrators of violence. A fingernail clipper is treated as a weapon and a bottle of water is counted as a possible bomb making ingredient.
People are being trained and encouraged to report “peculiar” behavior of their neighbors.
Is it really surprising that this is causing hysteria of the kind that leads to overreaction and use of force against a blind man carrying a cane for assistance?
People need to wake up and realize that this is bad news. We need to stop this before it is too late.
Certainly there exist proper causes for suspicion. But these are obvious in their peculiarity. A stranger lurking around the back window or back door of a neighbor’s house, is a good example. Someone wearing a ski mask in August is a very suspicious action.
But unless you believe that Highlander is a true to life story, reporting a man walking down the street with a samurai sword is insanity. For the police to react to such reports without extreme discretion is absolute insanity. When the suspected man is an elderly man walking slowly and with care, not threatening anyone, there is no excuse for such behavior.
But this hysteria is growing. It is being promoted by the government bureaucracies, by the media, and by the government schools. It is actually being taught and fostered.
Police and military personnel should not be such fools as this. They are thinking people. But they are taught to obey orders above all else. They are actually taught to be abusive, as with this elderly blind man, to apply assertive and abusive force and to make the handcuffs tight enough to hurt. They are taught not to hesitate. They are taught that protecting themselves against a suspected aggressor is more important than being certain.
Family and friends need to confront their loved ones who serve as law enforcement and military, lovingly reminding them of their vows to protect and serve. If they do not count right as more important than might, they should resign. If the lives of those they are sworn to protect are not more important than risking their own, then they should resign.
The country is safer without them if they have the wrong mindset. At least most criminals cannot call for hundreds for backup.
And what of the notion that collateral damage is acceptable in a faux war against terror? What is the proportion of people killed in the war against terror to the number killed by so-called terrorist attacks? How many thousands and tens of thousands have been killed directly in the so-called war against terror? And if the extensive collateral damage of poisoned water and effects are counted, how many more tens of thousands?
Which is more terrifying, really? Which is the greater atrocity?
Then there are the massive changes that have been forced upon the citizens of the nations fighting this war on terror. I can still remember when one could escort loved ones all the way to the embarking gate without even showing ID. I can remember when people were not afraid of the police and security people at airports and elsewhere. I can remember when police smiled and waved back when we waved to them. I remember when we were not afraid to wave to the police as they passed by.
I also remember when we were not afraid of what our neighbors would report concerning our actions. I remember when a spanking was not counted as abuse of one’s naughty child. And yes, I am thankful that my parents were free to use such measures when they believed them to be necessary.
Today parents are arrested and their children are taken away if the parents dare to discipline them strongly. Yet the TSA regularly frightens children and even gropes them publically, taking their toys and their drinks from them. The police assist bankers in driving families from their homes. The military confiscates guns from homeowners in the aftermath of horrific natural disasters.
These things became more prevalent during all of the presidents and their administrations and congresses of the past fifty years. Isn’t it time that we wake up and stop putting these goons in office? Isn’t time that we act responsibly?
Isn’t it time that we acknowledge the fact that voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil? If everyone abandoned this insane notion and voted their conscience instead, the world would truly become a safer and more peaceful place to live.
If people truly acted responsibly and only voted according to their consciences, voting only for those whom they perceived as clearly and truly godly and faithful and honest, imagine how much smaller government would be and how much less money would be required to run it?
Well, it is a very nice dream.

Police State & Totalitarianism
It would seem that most people still believe that America is the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Is there reason for anyone to reconsider this belief? Is there any evidence that the Constitution of the United States no longer is the law of the land and that other laws have superceded the Constitution so that police and military now rule with absolute control?
In October of 2001 Congress passed and George W. Bush signed into law the "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism (USA PATRIOT) Act of 2001," also known as the USA Patriot Act. It is available at many places but here is an official site: USA PATRIOT Act.
Along side of this the so-called government also established other so-called responses for the need to “protect” us from terrorism, such as the Homeland Security and TSA.
Last year the global elite of Congress passed The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2012. It was signed into law on December 31, 2011, by President Barack Obama.
In March Obama issued and signed Executive Order 13603 -- National Defense Resources Preparedness, in which he calls upon and extends what this Act previously declared.
Are the people of America and the world paying attention to what these say and effect?
Perhaps more terrifying than even what these things say and establish and do is the fact that most people are willing to accept them without even questioning their validity, necessity, and constitutionality.
I myself have not flown since 2006 when my father was dying. But at that time I was not allowed to pass the security checkpoint because I had these:
I was told that I would have to surrender them to my so-called protectors to be stolen from me. I refused and was made to return to the airline desk and have my luggage retrieved so as to place the items in my luggage, which I had to leave unsecured (unlocked). This, even though they x-ray scan all of the luggage and clearly see all that is inside. Protection? From whom?
Those who regularly fly are aware that things have become much worse. How can any reasonable person with functional mental capacity allow this to be called proper? How can anyone actually believe that this is honoring our constitutionally guaranteed liberty?
This past week I was required to go to the city hall to pay a bill because the bureaucrats have complicated this process to such a point that they cannot keep the procedure straight amongst themselves and we, the citizens, have to pick up their messes and correct them. In years past this was a fairly simple matter. But today one must subject oneself to the same fraudulent security molestations as at the airport. Even after their procedures that included taking off my belt, then I was told that I would have to sign over my keys and sign for them again when I would leave.
Why was this required? Because I had this on my keychain:
Half a dozen armed police officers were present in the entrance lobby alone and this is counted as a threatening weapon? What real threat would such a tiny tool pose?
After obtaining my paperwork and receipt, and after signing to have my vicious weapon returned to me, I asked the very sweet Barbie doll with a gun why she thinks that treating honest citizens this way is OK. I don’t call her this disrespectfully, but to demonstrate the ludicrous nature of this matter. I am a working man of almost 220 lbs. She is a lovely young lady of possibly 120 but more likely 110 lbs. I have sufficient strength that I regularly tear tree limbs apart the size of her arms. When I hug wife of the same size as this woman, I must be mindful to be careful so that I don’t break her ribs. What on earth would I do to a person with a little key tool barely sharp enough to cut string? How can she or anyone else imagine that this is in anyway related to protecting us?
Like most people, I have never hurt anyone in my life. I have never been arrested. I have never caused trouble. Yet I am treated by the police and others who have sworn to protect the Constitution and those it represents as though I were a terrorist threat.
I am a preacher of the Gospel. I invest myself in comforting people and helping people. I serve my neighbors. I help the homeless when I can. I feed hungry people. I give people a ride to the doctor and hospital. I work hard to earn a living and to serve others.
This is the way of the vast majority of the citizenry. Why should ordinary and law abiding and peaceful citizens be subjected to such disgraceful and wicked treatment?
Why are the people not demanding that this stop?
Why are the people imposing this upon us reelected?
When I took the paperwork to the inspection site for my truck, my receipt was taken from me until I would return with the trailer that also needed to be “inspected.” I asked that my receipt be returned to me so that I would have proof of my payment. They curtly refused. I demanded my receipt before leaving and was told that then I would not be leaving. The police told me that they were just people on the front line doing what they were told. I asked whether this would include shooting me if they were told to do so. The police puffed up their chests and told me to move along. When I asked what violation I would be charged with they told me that I had better do as I was told. The fact is that they helped the others steal my property, yet I was threatened with being arrested.
Was my question ridiculous?
Consider one incident in Saginaw, Michigan.
The report and video are at Man killed by cops, shot 30+ times.
The report begins, saying, “Three days before Independence Day, Milton Hall died in a fusillade of police gunfire outside a strip mall.”
The actual number of shots was 46.
If you watch the video, be aware that it shows the full scene. The man is gunned down in full view.
The man was known to have emotional issues. He was upset and belligerent. He says that he actually called the police because he wanted to voice his frustration. He had a knife.
The police were six in number. They had an attack dog, guns, and presumably batons and tasers.
When Mr. Hall began moving his knife was not raised.
The dog was not released. Batons were not drawn. Tasers were not drawn. Guns were drawn and fired. The man stops in his tracks. The guns continued to fire. The man fell down. The guns continued to fire. The man lay motionless on the ground and at least 8 more shots were fired.
This is a very extreme example but it is not an isolated incident.
Do the people have cause for concern?
Mr. Hall had a knife. He had a previous altercation with a store owner where apparently no violence occurred and Mr. Hall left. During his agitated conversation with the police no apparent attempt was made by the police to ask why he had called them. They only threatened him. He stood in the middle of a parking lot far from anyone whom he could harm. The attack dog could easily have been used to subdue him at least long enough to taser him or tackle him.
At the time of his killing, this man was not a threat to anyone.
What action prompted this barrage of gunfire?
He said “NO!” to the police. He had a history of saying “no” to the police. He had a history of being a nuisance.
They shot him 46 times without attempting any other measure.
Was the man who made this video in danger from Mr. Hall? Were the people driving by in danger from Mr. Hall? Were other passers-by in danger from Mr. Hall? Was the store owner in danger from Mr. Hall? Were the police in genuine danger from Mr. Hall? Were the little birdies nearby in danger from Mr. Hall?
Yet Mr. Hall was shot 46 times to protect us.
Should not people with a conscience be troubled by this to the point of calling for a change other than what Bush and Obama have brought upon us? Should we not be outraged that such a man as Mr. Hall can be gunned down as he was?
This man needed help. Instead he was shot. He was shot 46 times!
What does this say about the attitude of the police?
He was not shot in the leg or shoulder to stop him. After he was immobilized they continued shooting and shooting.
Over the Trayvon Martin shooting, where he actually attacked a man and was shot and killed in the altercation, Obama joined in. Did he say anything about this man who was shot 46 times? Where is the outrage by those who caused so much turmoil regarding Trayvon’s killing?
It apparently is acceptable for the police and the military and the CIA and Homeland Security and the TSA to abuse and molest and even to kill.
Meanwhile, the big bankers are getting rich, foreclosing on homes of people who have lost their jobs that the big bankers have moved to China. More and more people are being forced to become homeless and destitute. Our water is being poisoned with fluoride. Our food is being poisoned with glutamates, aspartic acid, fluoride, and pesticides. Our air is being sprayed with toxins. Drugs are being pushed as the answer to every problem. Health care is being confiscated by the government. And working people who carry a pocket knife and mothers who carry a finger nail clipper are treated as terrorist threats to society.
Yet people are not concerned. When asked, Mitt Romney says that he approves of the NDAA, TSA, HS, Patriot Act, invading other countries in the name of a war against terrorism, of the TARP bailouts and the stimulus money. Yet some people imagine that voting for such a man is voting for change.
Ultimately, this is to be expected. People have not changed. Adam listened to his wife who listened to the serpent. Then, when confronted by the Lord they began the blaming game. Cain killed his brother. Wars have raged ever since. Nations rise up against each other. Neighbors envy one another’s possessions and spouses and then act according to their lusts. It has been this way since sin came into the world. Freedom from fear cannot be found.
It can only be received. Perfect love casts out all fear. Perfect love is from above. It is given freely, but it is received through means. The Lord has established those means to be utilized and administered within His Church.
He has forewarned that as the last days approach that things would become more intense and worsen. He said that we should remember that He has told us of these things beforehand so that when we see them and suffer them that we take comfort in His promises. He says that these are all signs that the end of this evil age is approaching. He says that these are signs that the evil one is raging on account of knowing the limits of his time. He says that we should look up and see that our redemption draws nigh. Our trust, our hope, is not in princes and rulers, presidents and congresses, judges and courts, doctors and hospitals, police and military. Those will all surely fail us and even abuse us. But the Lord deals with us in grace offering us His merciful goodness and love.
For whom do I write this? I suppose that first and foremost I write for myself and my wife. I also write for all others, but I myself need to hear and believe God’s promises in Christ. I need that comfort and assurance. I need to be renewed in the knowledge that this world is not all that there is and that the evils of this world and of the worldly shall not prevail. The many abuses can be endured. The many hurts can be suffered without being overcome. For the just shall live by His faith, and through Him we are saved and kept safe forevermore.
Not everyone will hear this and believe it. But for me and my house, I repeat it again and again and again until we finally behold the fulfillment of all of God’s promises. And for anyone who sees the peace of God that rules our hearts in the face of all that is happening in the world, I share the source of that peace so that they may enjoy it for themselves as well.
Luther sums this up very powerfully in the last stanza of his marvelous hymn:
1. A mighty Fortress is our God,
A trusty Shield and Weapon;
He helps us free from every need
That hath us now o'ertaken.
The old evil Foe
Now means deadly woe;
Deep guile and great might
Are his dread arms in fight;
On Earth is not his equal.

Whom God Himself elected.

They shall not overpower us.

Happy Independence Day! Finale?
The Declaration of Independence from the tyrannical lordship of centralized banking under King George and the Bank of England is what is celebrated on this day ever since 1776. Born from this Declaration and the final triumph of the “American Revolution” was the Constitution of the United States and its Bill of Rights.
However, those whom the founders of this nation and their followers overthrew did not surrender. They continually worked to regain control of the colonies throughout the world. While England was no longer overtly controlling the world, the controllers of England continued to exert their influence. For the real tyrants have always been the bankers, and they have learned very powerful and subtle ways of controlling people and societies and nations and governments. In 1913 their final foothold was established which has been extended throughout the world.
But monetary control was not enough to gain absolute control. Thus the United Nations was formed and with it eventually the UN Agenda 21.
The John Birch Society on its informative posting “Agenda 21: How Will It Affect You? ” offers the following explanatory video. It is very informative and well worth viewing.
This video is very polite and quite unoffensive. Yet is does give a good start to understanding the real agenda of the globalists. A search on Agenda 21 will result in many additional sites supplying information.
This year the city of Wichita had no listing of fireworks being offered. What does this mean? Fireworks are displayed after baseball games and for the River Festival but not for the celebration of the birth of this nation in which innumerable blessings and liberties have been enjoyed by many.
Yet my wife and I both observed that it seemed that more fireworks were purchased and used this year in Wichita by the individual citizens. Is this significant? It was my perception that people are sensing the erosion of our freedoms and are nostalgically clinging to this celebratory exhibition at an individual level. Is it a last hurrah, or perhaps a hopeful cry for restoration of what has been stolen from us?
But the Fourth of July celebration of Independence Day is not really about fireworks, but what the fireworks represent. And what do they represent? They represent the shared beliefs that unified and motivated men to stand for those who would otherwise be enslaved to tyranny. They believed in the God of the Bible who declared His Holy Will for mankind. While they did not all truly believe in this God as He reveals Himself through the Holy Scriptures, a.k.a.., The Bible, they did believe in the existence of the Scriptures as the revelation of the Creator of the World and of mankind. They believed that this God not only created the world but also ordered it and actively preserves it and rules over the nations through both good men and evil men, working both to the good. They believed that this God established families and extended families and governance, all under His proclaimed family and that in this governance that the strong should protect the weak and their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These men believed this so strongly that they everlastingly declared : “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”
Ultimately, this is what has been lost in America. Some would say that all gods are alike, but no god is even remotely like the God of the Bible. God’s like Allah do not motivate men to sacrifice themselves for the weak and the poor and the stranger. Only the God of the Bible, even when He is known impurely and incorrectly, only this God changes men’s hearts in this way.
Once upon a time, America was a land united through belief in this God and His ways, and the entire world benefitted from this unity. Certainly America has not lived up to this rich and laudable heritage, as many evils have been done in America and by Americans and their government. Yet innumerable blessings and protections also have occurred. For these it is truly appropriate to give thanks and to celebrate. It also is due cause for standing together once again and overthrowing the tyrants while it can still be done through the voting booth.
