Age-Activated Attention Deficit Disorder

By the way, the answer to this distressing phenomenon is not another pill.

Reaction to Government Imposed Religion

The article Meltdown! Student goes berserk in class shares the account of an incident that occurred in college Evolution class. Some of the students made video recordings of the outburst that ended with the young lady being taken away to a government religious center, the South County Mental Health Center in Delray Beach, Fla.

Yes, Evolution and Psychology are part of the government’s religion, and it is being forcibly imposed upon the populace. This young lady cried out violently against what continually bombards her, but she does not fully understand.

Some of the people who commented on this article made comments about how this young lady is a racist and a product of welfare, etc. One lady spoke against the other students who displayed the laughter of dismay, as if they were without compassion, when they were actually victims who laughed rather than to respond in other ways.

This type of incident is becoming more and more common in our society. It will become even more prevalent in the future.

Why? Why is this happening? Why are we seeing people suddenly go berserk and act out violently? Why are there people suddenly “Going Postal”?

In this young lady’s case, did she perhaps know of the racial eugenics of Evolutionism? Did she know that the early promotion of Evolutionism was to dehumanize certain groups of people? Did she know that in America the religion of evolution was propagated to “prove” the inferiority of the African peoples?

It is hard to say. Perhaps she simply listened to too many racial hatemongers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and the Obama. There is no question that many people have been victims of such propaganda, being continually taught that reacting with anger and outrage is the proper and perhaps only response to various observable inequities.

Mix in perhaps a few psychiatric drugs prescribed to manipulate her emotions rather than to deal with them, consider also whatever family dysfunction she may daily encounter, add also the collapsing economy and the personal and community impact, pile on the growing threat of the governmental denial of Constitutional protections (through the NDAA, TSA, NSA, CIA, etc.), finally add in the forced continual exposure to the denigrating and intellectually insulting false doctrine of Evolutionism, and eventually all of this pent up confusion breaks through to those around her.

Outbursts like this young lady’s are not without cause. While these causes may not justify or excuse her actions, they do help to put things into a more understandable perspective, and perhaps also lead to a certain degree of sympathy and empathy. Maybe we should actually invest the energy to listen and hear such people.

After all, we are such people.

Psychiatry vs Personal Well Being and Growth

In the post two posts below, ADHD is addressed among other issues.

I have encountered people who have genuine neurological disorders, and ADHD, or at least something similar, is certainly among them. There are people who have problems with proper functioning of their neural pathways.

Sadly, as in the one link that I labeled as an ADHD joke, ADHD and the Brain: An Inside Look, horribly false statements are made. Amazingly, the three things that are listed by this pharmaceutical advertisement as being myths, are actually the things that have been scientifically proven. The one of greatest concern is the nutritional or dietetic contributor.

Two food additives that have been proven to be what are called excitotoxins are very powerfully destructive to the proper development of the neural pathways especially during the periods of gestational and early childhood development. At these critical stages of development, these neurotoxins can and often do cause permanent and irreversible damage.

The two neurotoxins are processed glutamic acid and aspartic acid, often commonly called MSG/glutamates and Aspartame. While these are not the only contributors to neurological disorders, they are documented and prevalent. Yet the mainstream medical professionals not only do not warn people, but actually deny their destructive effects. They actually lie, as in the video, saying that the causes are not known. Then, they prescribe other harmful drugs.

Thankfully there are health care professionals and researchers who are reporting these things. Many of the incidences of “mental disorders” can be prevented through avoidance of these toxins in the diet.

Amazingly, the other factors that the video farcically dismisses as myths are actually validated by what is later stated as part of proper treatment for ADHD. Consider the four things listed:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Positive reinforcement
  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
Now compare this list to the list of so-called myths:
  • “ADHD isn’t ‘real’ and it’s often blown out of proportion”
  • “ADHD is caused by a poor diet or too much television”
  • “ADHD is caused by poor schooling or poor parenting”

Do you see the fallacious presentation and misrepresentation? First, they combined ‘blown out of proportion’ with ‘isn’t real’ so as to present the two as both being false presumptions. However, they are not at all the same. The one is factual.

The second so-called myth actually has two factual items listed together in a way that they seem to cancel one another.

The third is presented in a way to anger teachers and parents into feeling defensive.

Yet their four approved methods of treatment all assume that teaching behavior modification and counseling and encouragement (which all belong to the role of parenting and teaching and are often overridden by too much TV and video games and Internet and texting) are the missing factors that are in need of being supplied.

Then, they add that stimulants can be helpful, and especially prescription stimulants. They may as well be promoting caffeine and nicotine. Those would actually be safer and less expensive!

But the last thing that they want to do is to tell people about the food additives that are flooding their foods and beverages.

And naturally they do not want anyone to think that the ADHD diagnoses are in any way blown out of proportion and often entirely wrong. Then parents and teachers might actually encourage these energetic youngsters to put their excitement and energy to something productive. The kids might actually be encouraged to investigate what special inborn talents and skills and aptitudes are driving their “hyperactivity” and eagerness to find more stimulating studies and activities.

Oh, they might even be led to discover that they enjoy learning, if they were given some encouragement to see how their aptitudes could be applied in real life applications.

Oh no!

What is the Citizens Commission on Human Rights?

At this last link this group discloses:

CCHR was co-founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus Dr. Thomas Szasz at a time when patients were being warehoused in institutions and stripped of all constitutional, civil and human rights.

What current influence Scientology has within the group I did not discover. However, all of the information that I viewed appeared to be sound information regarding things of which the public should be aware. Most notable is the amount of information disclosed by people from within the medical industry.

If you’d like to see a great ADHD joke, view this video:

ADHD and the Brain: An Inside Look.

If you view this video, pay attention to the number of times “may be” is used, after making the claim “ADHD is a real mental health issue. This has been confirmed by decades of scientific research.” Watch the “EXPERT’s” face as he says, “No one knows exactly what causes ADHD.” It is truly insanely comical that this drug pusher imagines that wearing a t-shirt that says “EXPERT” will convince the viewers to trust his propaganda. What is not at all funny is the realization that his presumption is actually true for many viewers.
